Historically, the word Saneha (Prakrit) embodies a rich lexicon of emotions including: devotion, affection, love, passion, friendship, cohesion. Those meanings are embedded in the Buddhist concept of loving-kindness that is at the heart of Lao culture and way of life. 

Vanida – of Lao descent, raised in France – seeks to celebrate her ancestors culture by embedding this spirit into her jewellery design and creative process. 

Her pieces of jewellery ‘Saneha’ begin in her mind, like sketches, inspired by a fleeting moment, an emotion, to become tangible keepsakes handmade by artisan goldsmiths. Beyond mere objects, her creations are an abstract language where different worlds meet and open up a new landscape of devotion.
